A few tracks I composed throughout the year.
The Door Project
"Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs"
The bog, the man, the baby, the tree.
This whole track was composed using a single door sample. Using different types of synthesis techniques, we had to create several different instruments to compose a song. This was my final product.

Software used: Pro Tools and EXS instruments in Logic
For this composition, we were given a fictitious storyline about a bog, a man, a baby and a fallen tree. Because this score didn't have a picture to match, we were given creative control over how the scenes played out during the duration of the composition.

Software used: All Logic instruments and one sculpture track
This is an orchestral piece I wrote to one of the opening sequences of "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs."

Software used: All Logic and Kontakt instruments.
Backwater Gospel
This is a snippet of the final composition I did for my MTVF class. I wanted to choose a video that was close to the genre that I was most comfortable playing in but instead, found it to be more difficult than it looked. I ended up composing a very simple piece and asked my friend if he could play some guitar swells to add depth to the ambience being played. The feeling I was trying to convey was more tragic than chaos and I thought the best way to interpret this was by adding more "weight" through layers of different sounds.
